Paulinho’s lack of goals for Tottenham Hotspur is about to cost Jamie Carragher big time.
The former Liverpool defender turned Sky Sports pundit had a wager with former England team-mate and fellow TV colleague Gary Neville, betting the Brazil international would hit 15 goals in his debut season at White Hart Lane.
The Lillywhite flop, a £17million purchase from Corinthians back in July 2013, got nowhere near that target.
Some two years and 47 appearances later and Paulinho, who is reportedly close on a move to China and Guangzhou Evergrande, has not even bagged half that amount, with the midfielder finding the net just six time for Spurs.
