Clinton: GOP candidates’ views on women akin to those of terrorists...

Hillary Clinton compared Republican presidential candidates’ views on women to those of terrorists in a campaign appearance Thursday in Ohio.
“Now extreme views about women? We expect that from some terrorist groups. We expect that from people who don’t want to live in the modern world,’’ Clinton said in Cleveland.
“But it’s a little hard to take coming from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States, yet they espouse out-of-date and out-of-touch policies,” she said. “They are dead wrong for 21st century America.”
She said Jeb Bush opposes Planned Parenthood, which provides reproductive health services to women and has been the target of an outside group that produced undercover videos about its abortion services. She also took aim at Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who “brags about wanting to deny victims of rape and incest access to health care and abortion.”
The comments drew a swift rebuke from Republicans. “For Hillary Clinton to equate her political opponents to terrorists is a new low for her flailing campaign,’’ Allison Moore, Republican National Committee press secretary, said in a statement. “She should apologize immediately for her inflammatory rhetoric.’’
Bush slammed Clinton on Twitter, saying she “compares pro-life Americans to terrorists” while defending Planned Parenthood policies. “Her priorities are totally wrong.”
